About The Designer

Denice Simões Stringer's entree into the world of jewelry design was no coincidence. She is the daughter of a builder, a mother with a flair for femininity. She has an innate vision for constructing the beautiful.

Raised between the Hudson Valley, New York and the countryside of Portugal, Denice is no stranger to world travel. She studied at La Sorbonne in Paris, France, graduated from SUNY Albany with a degree of Bachelor of Arts, pursued a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University, and then moved to South Florida. While earning a Master of Business Administration in International Business from the University of Miami, she continued her zealous travel to the Caribbean and South America. She decided ultimately to tap into what she originally set out to do as a child. She wanted to be an inventor, a designer, to create and play with stones. In 2011, Denice earned her Accredited Jewelry Professional diploma, Jewelry Design certificate, and studied CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design / Computer Aided Manufacturing) for jewelry from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), New York.
